Dear Zoe,

There's a lot of planning involved in organizing a Scout Group so we need to do a lot of forward planning.

The Diary Dates are there to let you know as far in advance as possible what we and the District are trying to plan for you and the rest of the Group.

As for your request for a picture of you check out the Pictures & Photos Section of this site and look at the pictures of last years Summer Camp. ( follow the link at the bottom of the camp photos 2005 )

ARGH. A Scout troop bearing the same name as me. This is quite freaky .... I'm a District Explorer Scout Leader (ex DESCOMM / ADC VS etc) in Lancashire, way up to the north. Kind of specialise in running large scale (i.e. 3/400 people) sized Its a knockout competitions bringing filth to a new level. Oh, and often provide after-camp fire guitary based entertainment to network and leaders alike. This is very, very odd ... how big are you guys down there? Got an Explorer Unit attached to you? Fancy doing some partnership badge stuff? Am sure that West Lancs could provide some madness if you are ever in the North West (Lake District etc). Bang me a mail if interested in making contact .... Not onlly do I go by the name Ash Green, I'm also an Explorer Scout Leader in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. Do you understand just how freaky this is? This is VERY VERY odd. I think I may need to go and lie down for a while. Having a village named after me is one thing, but a SCOUT GROUP??!?! After beinhg a leader, a DVSL,. ADC VS, DESCOMM, and finally an DESL .... this is quite distrubing, probably in the extreeme. I feel as though I may need to come down and meet you guys. It seems like destiny ....

Hello Ashgreen explorer group,


Let me introduce myself, my name is Louise, I'm 17 years old, and I'm a member of a explorer group in the Netherlands, called scouting Vught-Noord, our group contains 10 young people in the age of 15 to 18 years and 2 supervisors aged around 25 years old.
Well, we would like to ask you a few questions, because this summer (the first till the 8th of July ) we are planning to visit England, the County Kent to be exact.
We would really like to visit a few camping?s during our trip: so we find a place to sleep, stay there one or two days, and move (walk) on to the next place, and we would like to do some adventurous activities, like rafting or something like that.
And because you are explorers as well, I wondered if you maybe could give us some information or tips or something.
We would really appreciate it, because we?ve tried to find information, but it's pretty hard, because we don't know much of the County Kent.
